CEPS-EPIN Seminar. Current areas of differentiated integration include economic and monetary union (EMU) and the Schengen Area. But how will differentiated integration look like in the future? To what policy areas can or should it expand? What does future differentiated integration hold for the evolution of the European institutions? The aim of the conference is to have a panel discussion in which leading European politicians, officials and thinkers share their views on the subject of differentiated integration. More specific, the panel will address if and why (further) differentiated integration should take place.
