ECMI Statistical Package 2009 - bundle version (PDF+Excel)
The ECMI Statistical Package presents a comprehensive collection of relevant data on the dynamics of various segments of the European capital market, complete with graphical representations and explanatory commentary. It enables users to trace trends in European capital markets, so as to highlight their ongoing transformation through structural changes brought about by competitive forces, innovation, regulation or policy initiatives such as economic and monetary union (EMU).
ECMI ‘s initiative to create an annual Statistical Package represents an important step towards overcoming the existing fragmentation in data on the evolution of European capital markets by offering a ‘one-stop shop’ for market participants, regulators, academics and students.
The 2009 Statistical Package offers users the most up to date information on the state of European capital markets in the aftermath of the financial crisis (e.g. 1H 2009 for derivatives). As with last year’s package, contents are divided in four sections: equity markets, debt securities markets, exchange-traded derivatives markets and over-the-counter derivatives markets. Internal links, as well as a complete table of contents, will facilitate the internal navigation of the document; and the most important datasets will be represented in charts in order to demonstrate trends visually.
The PDF and Excel versions of the package are available free of charge for ECMI members on the ECMI website.
